Enyimba are leaving no stone unturned in their quest to grab an away victory against CARA Brazzaville in Wednesday’s Caf Confederation Cup game.

The two-time African kings began their group phase on an impressive note, defeating Djoliba 2-0 thanks to goals from Isiaka Oladuntoye and Stanley Dimgba.

They would be looking forward to continuing their impressive run in the championship against the 2017 Congo Ligue 1 third place team.

And to achieve this goal, Paul Aigbogun’s men left for Brazaville on Saturday and club boss has explained the reason behind the move.

"Going and spending one extra day will actually be more expensive for us," Anyansi told Enyimba media.

"But we have to, so as to allow for adequate rest and preparation before the day of the game. We are leaving no stone unturned."

CARA are third in Group C no thanks to their 1-0 defeat to Williamsville AC at the Stade Félix Houphouët-Boigny, Abidjan.

The Confederation of African Football has appointed Somalia’s Hassan Mohamed Hagi as the man to be in charge of the encounter billed for Stade Alphonse Massemba-Débat.
