Mohamed Elneny opened the scoring in Sunday's Africa Cup of Nations final with a beautiful strike from close range that gave Egypt a 1-0 lead.
Elneny, who plays professionally for Arsenal, found himself in alone on goal along the right side in the 22nd minute. Elneny then took a few steps toward Fabrice Ondoa before unleashing a rocket over the Cameroonian goalkeeper's left shoulder.

The strike was Elneny's fourth goal in his international career. Unfortunately for his side it would not be enough, as Cameroon scored twice in the second half to claim a 2-1 victory and the AFCON title.
