It took bantamweight sensation Naoya Inoue 70 seconds to emphatically dispose of Juan Carlos Payano, while Kiryl Relikh outpointed Eduard Troyanovsky by unanimous decision in super lightweight action.
After taking the first minute to feel Payano out, Inoue connected on a quick left, followed by a vicious right hand that knocked out Payano before his body hit the canvas in an electrifying first-round KO for the Japanese star, who advances to the WBSS Season 2 bantamweight semifinal and is now 17-0 with 15 KOs.

Relikh, from Belarus, found himself in a completely different situation against Troyanovsky. No matter how hard Relikh hit Troyanovsky, he couldn't knock out the rugged Russian boxer. Yet, he did more than enough damage to win by unanimous decision, with all three judges scoring it 115-113 in favor of Relikh.
"It was a tough fight. My problem is I'm looking for KO," Relikh said via a translator in the ring after his victory. "I saw that I hurt him, but was surprised I couldn't finish him."
