Undisputed boxing video game: Release date, cost, trailer, roster, game modes & more

Across multiple sports, there are video games showcasing high-quality action and top-tier stars. About every year, there have been advancements in the gaming world to make the action crisp and allow fans to immerse themselves in the ultimate sports experience. 

The combat sports world has lacked something gamers can sink their teeth into. Until now. 

Undisputed, the highly-anticipated video game, is ready to showcase the world's best boxers, past and present. It is the first boxing video game since Fight Night in 2011.

Early access for the game begins for PC users on Steam on January 31. Here is a first look at the trailer.

What is the Undisputed video game?

Per the Undisputed website, the Steel City Interactive-developed boxing game “is an authentic boxing game developed with care by dedicated fight fans, alongside the professional boxing community.”

The game, formerly known as eSports Boxing Club, is promising revolutionary footwork mechanics, punches from multiple angles and directions, over 50+ licensed fighters at the start of Early Access, real-life boxing organizations, a Career mode, and more. 

Over 200+ fighters should be available on the game roster once completed. Punch stats are provided by CompuBox.

“As gamers and boxing fans, Undisputed is our tribute to the sport that we love,” said Ash Habib, CEO of Steel City Interactive, via Niche Gamer. “We’re delighted to partner with PLAION, who share our passion to bring boxing back to players. Their expertise and support will allow us to focus on making Undisputed the king-of-the-ring of boxing games.”

How to play Undisputed video game: Available devices

Undisputed will be released on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.

Early access for fans will only be available on PC through Steam. That will take place on January 31. There will still be some patches, but the gaming process will look and feel like the version fans will buy once complete. 

“Since Undisputed is still in development, we expect to be fixing bugs and polishing the experience throughout early access, while providing a game that is stable and enjoyable to play,” developers stated, via talkSPORT

How much does the Undisputed video game cost? 

  • $29.99

The price for day one Early Access will be $29.99. Regional prices will differ starting on January 31.

Who will be in the Undisputed video game?

Some of the sports biggest stars, past and present, are included in the video game. The platform will also showcase a women's division. There are expected to be more fighters included as time goes on. Fighters already featured include:
