A 2008 English National Champion, Fury beat Wladimir Klitschko in 2015 to become the WBA, IBF, WBO, and The Ring heavyweight champion. As lineal champion, Fury was forced to relinquish the belts after dealing with drug and alcohol issues, and got eventually suspended. Returning in 2018, Fury fought then-WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder to a draw.

In 2020, Fury beat Wilder in a rematch via TKO to win the WBC and The Ring belt. Fury knocked out Wilder in a third fight in 2021 to retain the belt. He has fought twice since, beating Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora, the latter bout in December.
