Following months of verbal punch and counterpunch, Jake Paul and Tommy Fury will finally settle their feud with fists. The pair face off in a 185-pound catchweight contest at the Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia on Sunday, February 26.

This will be the first time that Paul will have faced a legitimate professional boxer. Unbeaten in six fights, with four knockouts, the social media sensation has faced either fellow YouTubers or fighters with an MMA background. But despite lacking in professional boxing experience, Paul has been installed as the pre-fight favourite.

Fury, 23, is the half-brother of reigning heavyweight champion of the world Tyson Fury. The Manchester man put his boxing career on hold in 2019 to make an appearance on the reality TV show Love Island. That, plus his surname, have given him a serious leg up in terms of exposure.

But just how good is he as a boxer?

With only a dozen fights as an amateur, Fury turned to the paid ranks in December 2018. As is the case with most raw novices, he was carefully matched against journeymen that could teach him a thing or two without posing a significant threat.

The Adonis-like Englishman has done everything asked of him to this point. Fury has won eight straight fights, four by knockout, and has shown some promise. He is yet to lose a single round in his career and has proven to be an adept body puncher.

Extremely confident of victory, Fury has vowed to end Paul’s professional boxing career.

"Jake Paul is a side attraction in my boxing career,” said the fighter known as TNT in an interview with Sky Sports. "When I deal with him, I’ll jump back on the road and start winning proper titles, which is what I was destined to do.”
