Inside the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Gervonta Davis and Ryan Garcia put on a show in front of 20,000+ fans, with potentially millions watching from home. It was a true mega-fight that put boxing in the spotlight.

More than 24 hours removed from the clash, with Davis coming out the winner via knockout, the fallout has caused a lot of drama following claims of a "mole" inside the camp of Garcia. It comes after Davis teased something on the matter heading into the fight.

Garcia got knocked down in the second round, with Davis using his power and defense to back Garcia up. A shot to the body led to a delayed reaction by Garcia, who dropped to a knee in round seven. He did not answer the count of ten, and Davis earned his 29th win, his 27th via knockout.

“King Ryan” at the time stated Davis was the better man in the fight. However, he recently went on social media to discuss a potential "mole" in his camp.

In a deleted message on his Instagram story, Garcia used a rat emoji to describe a double agent that may have been a factor in his loss against “Tank.”

“Actually sad I had a mole in my camp,” Garcia said. “Like wtf thats crazy but thank God it’s brought to light now.”

In another deleted story on Instagram, Garcia continued his talk of a mole, stating, “Also Didn’t mean for that to come off as an excuse or anything. I lost period. I’ll come back but I’m just shocked that part of my team crossed me someone close to me. Unbelievable. But it’s a testimony that you must be aware of anyone.”

He later emphasized that he was not making excuses and that someone on his team did switch sides.

The 24-year-old lost his first pro fight since turning pro in 2016. The second round knockdown was the first time he got dropped to the canvas since facing Luke Campbell in 2021.

Who is the mole in Ryan Garcia’s camp?

As of now, it is unknown who the mole could be, if there was one.

Some reports previously mentioned training partner Erdenebat Tsendbaatar as a potential name. The Mongolian fighter confirmed on social media that he seemingly hurt Garcia in sparring with a shot to the body, similar to the one Davis hit.

He later sent a statement in a social media post to clear his name.

“Hey King Ryan, my bro! My last post I used Google Translate,” Tsendbaatar said on Instagram. "The translation was incorrect and confusing, my apologies. Who is Mole? What are you talking about? I am not mole. I don’t even speak English. I don’t even like Tank. I will fight him and KO him in the future. During our sparring, I tried to help you and sparred Tank-style boxing. I was cheering for you to win against Tank. You are a great boxer, but next time try to learn from sparring and hopefully you will not get hit by the same punch during the fight. Good luck to you and God bless!”
