Pride will be on the line when Liam Smith and Chris Eubank Jr. face off in a rematch at the AO Arena in Manchester on September 2. The 12-round middleweight bout, plus undercard action, will air on ESPN+ in the U.S. and Sky Sports Box Office in the U.K.
The two fought in early January, with Smith (33-3-1) knocking Eubank (32-3) down for the first time in his career. Refusing to give his opponent a chance to breathe, Smith battered Eubank until the referee stopped the bout in Round 4. Eubank, who was supposed to fight Conor Benn before the latter failed two drug tests, had his six-fight win streak snapped.
Telling Sky Sports the result "wasn't conclusive" and that he could have fought on, Eubank is ready to show he can adapt and win the rematch.
"It was new territory. Now, I've been there and done it. Now I have the experience of knowing maybe what to do to alleviate that pressure if it ever happens," Eubank said. "But, obviously, my job is to make sure it never does.”

Smith is now on a four-fight win streak. The former WBO super welterweight champion recently spoke to Sky Sports about a sparring session where he hurt Eubank to the midsection.
"I don't know how many of you believed the sparring story, I don't know if you believed it or not, but I feel like I've proved a point now," Smith said. "I didn't just pull it out of the air. I fully did do him to the body [in sparring], and I've done him in the head now, too. He knows I can hurt him. I know I can hurt him."
Outside the main event, titles are on the line, a former champion is ready to move to a new division, and rising prospects look to impress. Here’s a breakdown of the full undercard for Smith vs. Eubank 2.

It's time to combine my experience with my size and see what I can accomplish. This fight is at 142 pounds, but 147 is the next hot division in women's boxing, and that's where I'm headed.”
