Some of sports hottest rivalries take place in a boxing ring. From grudge matches to super fights, fans get entertained by the skills of talented individuals fighting for the ultimate bragging rights. Today, some influencers who box are the driving force for top rivalries in the sport.

One of the greatest boxing rivalries involving content creators is KSI vs. Jake Paul. The YouTubers have had beef for years, starting when KSI and Jake’s brother, Logan, fought one another in 2018.

While a KSI-Fury fight is being discussed for later this year at Wembley Stadium in London, they aren’t at the one-yard line yet. KSI must get past Joe Fournier, who he faces on May 13 at the Wembley Arena. The fight airs on DAZN PPV.

Fournier has legit boxing experience, with nine wins, all via knockout. If KSI beats Fournier, will he face Paul next, or the man that beat him, Tommy Fury?

Will KSI fight Tommy Fury?

In February, Paul lost to Fury in his first fight against a legitimate boxer. While he knocked Fury down in the final round, the half-brother of WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury won via split decision.

KSI mocked Paul for the loss, berating him online like most combat sports fans who craved for a Paul loss. Paul responded by booking a fight against Nate Diaz on August 5. But he still has KSI on his mind and a rematch with Fury.

Regarding Fury, KSI tweeted that he wants to face Tommy so he could ruin Paul’s legacy. He wants to beat the fighter that beat him. He has since doubled down on the thought of facing Fury.

“I want Tommy Fury, simple as that,” KSI told SunSport. “I'm not going to waste my time with Jake Paul. He wants to fight Nate Diaz, an MMA fighter who isn't known for his boxing. [He's a] black belt in Jiu-Jitsu, blah, blah, blah.

“Maybe in the UFC ring it would be a bit more entertaining. In the MMA ring, yeah, but in the boxing ring, everyone just knows Jake is going to win that. I'm not just going to waste my time. I'm going to go straight for Tommy and do what Jake Paul couldn’t.”

Per Seconds Out Live, KSI vs. Fury is “close” to becoming a done deal. KSI could call out Fury if he takes down Fournier.

The Sporting News will be keeping an eye on potential developments regarding this potential fight.
