Two of the top female fighters in the world face off for undisputed gold on May 20. Already undisputed at lightweight, Katie Taylor faces Chantelle Cameron for the latter's status as undisputed super lightweight champion.

The fight is inside the 3Arena in Dublin, Taylor’s backyard. DAZN airs the bout.

Taylor has won gold at super lightweight before, beating Christina Linardatou in 2019 for the WBO title. She is ready to add more gold to her collection while enhancing her already-made legacy.

Per Caesars, Taylor is the -170 favorite, while Cameron is the +145 underdog. That doesn't faze Cameron, who is used to proving herself to doubters.

“I’m no stranger to boxing away from home now, and to be going into Katie’s backyard for her homecoming is massive," she said. "I’m glad to be a part of history again like I was in Abu Dhabi. I know what I will be up against and that I am the underdog, but I relish that. The fight will be electric. We both are experienced, we are both game, and we are both are coming to win.”

Outside the main event, a title fight featuring a trailblazer for women’s boxing is on the card. Other bouts feature veterans, contenders, and newcomers. Here is a look into the entire main card of Taylor vs. Cameron.

Why is Ellie Scotney not fighting?

Ellie Scotney was supposed to fight on the Taylor-Cameron card, facing Cherneka Johnson for the IBF super bantamweight title. Scotney later revealed that she got removed from the event due to issues surrounding trainer Shane McGuigan and Cameron.

McGuigan worked with Cameron until 2019. Cameron suggested it was the best way forward for the sake of her own mental health. She said she almost walked away from boxing but could not disclose additional details due to a non-disclosure agreement.

Scotney will now fight Johnson on June 10 on the same card as Sunny Edwards vs. Andres Campos, who are fighting for the IBF flyweight title.
