After signing with BOXXER, Joshua Buatsi looks forward to a fresh start against Pawel Stepien on May 6 at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham in what will be his Sky Sports debut.
A bronze medalist in the 2016 Olympics, Buatsi turned pro in 2017. In 2019, he beat Liam Conroy for the British light heavyweight title and he has since taken out the likes of Ryan Ford, Ricards Bolotniks, and Craig Richards. The Richards fight in May 2022 was his final outing with Matchroom, as the deal they had expired.

“I want to get the biggest fights on the biggest, most accessible platform for sports fans, so that's why I've signed with BOXXER and Sky Sports,” Buatsi said via Sky Sports. “I’m happy to be at a channel that I feel is like the home of the nation.”
Stepien turned pro in 2015 and won local gold in Poland to start his career. In his most recent fight, in August, the 32-year-old beat Iago Kiziria via unanimous decision
