One of the most outspoken individuals in and out of the ring, Jake Paul is willing to do whatever it takes to make an impact in boxing. He has plenty of detractors due to his unorthodox methods that have stirred the pot. Several traditional boxing fans are ready to see “The Problem Child” suffer his first loss, with the idea that he’ll disappear from the sport.

However, Paul's not ready to go anywhere and is focused on a world title opportunity. And he can get there if he beats Tommy Fury, his toughest challenge to date, on February 26. The winner of Paul vs. Fury will receive a ranking in the WBC’s cruiserweight division.

Paul vs. Fury takes place at the Diriyah Arena in Saudi Arabia. Before facing Fury, Paul took on former NBA stars, YouTubers, and MMA fighters. With a ranking on the line, Paul has another incentive to silence all of his doubters.

“I’m so excited for this fight because I can finally silence the critics who have said, ‘Fight a professional boxer, fight someone your age.’ I agree. I haven’t proven that,” Paul said during the pre-fight press conference.

“But this is why this fight is so big. This is why I’m so excited. This is why I’ve given this guy multiple chances and paid him so much money to finally show up. And it really seemed like the only time he wanted to get into the ring is when I increased the amount of money. So, thankfully he’s here now.”

Fury, 23, is 8-0 against journeymen. The resume of these opponents may not look impressive, but these fights are standard for a rising prospect. With his family name and salary on the line, Fury is ready to give it his all.
