A fight on July 20 between two polarizing figures in combat sports takes over Tampa, Florida. Jake Paul and Mike Perry face off in a boxing fight, and it airs on DAZN PPV.
Paul will compete in a boxing ring against a former MMA fighter for the fifth time since turning pro in 2020. The YouTuber lost against Tommy Fury, a legitimate boxer, in 2023 and has since beaten Nate Diaz and two boxers (Andre August and Ryan Bourland). He was supposed to fight Mike Tyson in July until the latter suffered an ulcer flare-up.
“The Problem Child” will now face Tyson in November. Before he fights “Iron” Mike, he faces “Platinum” Mike in a challenging eight-round affair.
Perry was 14-8 in MMA, his last fight in 2021 with the UFC, before transitioning to bare-knuckle boxing. The "King of Violence” found a home in the sport and with Bare Knuckle FC, and has won three straight contests via TKO. It is Perry’s second pro boxing fight and first since 2015.

Also on the card will be unified featherweight champion Amanda Serrano facing Stevie Morgan in a super lightweight fight. Serrano challenges Katie Taylor in November for undisputed super lightweight gold but will compete after a fight against Nina Meinke got canceled at the last second. The seven-division champion is on a four-fight win streak.
Morgan, nicknamed "Sledgehammer," has won all but one of her 14 victories via knockout. The Golden Gloves Champion has won six straight contests, all coming via the power punch.
