If you thought 2020 was strange, get ready for 2021.

In February, Floyd Mayweather Jr. will be taking on YouTube star Logan Paul in an exhibition boxing match. Paul, who is 0-1 as a professional boxer after a loss to KSI, is continuing his boxing career against arguably the greatest boxer of all time. Mayweather boasts an impressive 50-0 professional record with 27 career knockouts.

Logan Paul and his brother Jake have been engaging in celebrity-like fights, although to this point, neither one of them has taken on an actual boxer. Logan Paul has fought KSI twice while Jake Paul has fought two YouTubers and former NBA star Nate Robinson.

To no one's surprise, the announcement of Logan Paul fighting Mayweather caused quite the stir on social media. Many were shocked, some could not believe it was actually real, and others made jokes. One of the recurring jokes was that Mayweather was going to avenge Robinson's loss to Jake Paul.

While most of the reactions are simply for fun, Mayweather actually commented on Robinson's knockout.

Here's some of the reaction from social media.
