A new main event will entertain the Liverpool natives inside the M&S Bank Arena on March 11, when power puncher Diego Pacheco faces home fighter Jack Cullen over 10 rounds.
This fight replaces Callum Smith vs. Pawel Stepien, which was nixed after Smith backed out due to injury. Smith, a former super middleweight champion, is expected to face IBF, WBC, and WBO light heavyweight king Artur Beterbiev at some point this year.
Making his pro debut in 2018, Pacheco has ended 14 of his 17 wins via knockout. He fought four times in 2022, winning all four via knockout. The 21-year-old last competed in December, beating Ricardo Adrian Luna.
Turning pro in 2016, Cullen lost his first pro fight in 2018. Since then, he has gone 10-2-1. Cullen last fought in April 2022, beating Vladimir Belujsky on points.
