Deontay Wilder is considered one of the best heavyweight boxers in the world.

The WBC champ may have forgotten that when he was asked to punch a mascot on Nacion ESPN.

Wilder was told to hit the mascot wherever he wanted.

The mascot reportedly suffered a broken jaw in the incident.

After the incident, Wilder disputed claims that he didn't know someone was in the suit and offered the mascot tickets to his fight with Tyson Fury:

Wilder was wrapping up a press tour ahead of his fight Fury in Los Angeles on December 1st.

The 32-year-old Alabama native is unbeaten in 40 professional fights, with 39 wins coming by knockout.

Fury, 30, is also unbeaten in his 27-fight professional career.

The Englishman is on the comeback trail after having more than two years out of the ring following his win over Wladimir Klitschko in late 2015.

Fury has two wins in 2018, with the winner of that fight likely to take on WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO champ Anthony Joshua in a unification bout.
