An MMA fighter and boxer face off in a bare knuckle contest on February 2. Luis Palomino and Austin Trout battle it out in Florida for the Bare Knuckle FC lightweight title. The fight airs on TrillerTV in the U.S. 

Palomino turned pro in MMA in 2006. He competed in Absolute Fighting Championships, XFC, Bellator, and World Series of Fighting, amassing a 26-17 record. "Baboon" is a former XFC featherweight champion and fought for the WSOF lightweight title twice, losing against Justin Gaetheje. His last MMA fight was a decision loss in 2019 against Claudio Quintana. 

The 43-year-old turned to bare knuckle in 2020. He beat Isaac Vallie-Flagg to win the BKFC lightweight title. In 2022, he beat Elvin Brito to win the BKFC welterweight title. His last fight was a win in June against James Lilley.

Trout turned pro in boxing in 2005. He beat Rigoberto Alvarez in 2011 for the WBA super welterweight title. After losing against Canelo Alvarez and Erislandy Lara in 2013, he fought Jermall Charlo and Jarrett Hud for the IBF super welterweight title, losing both contests. "No Doubt" is on a 6-1-1 run and a six-fight win streak. His last fight was in October against Omir Rodriguez.

The 38-year-old joined the world of bare knuckle fighting in February 2023, beating Diego Sanchez.
