Anthony Joshua looks to continue his quest to become champion again. Francis Ngannou is ready to show the world his performance against Tyson Fury wasn’t a fluke. Joshua and Ngannou clash for the ultimate bragging rights in a mega fight.
A former two-time unified heavyweight champion, Joshua is on a two-fight win streak after losing twice to Oleksandr Usyk. The Brit knocked out Robert Helenius and dismantled Otto Wallin in his last fight in December. If “AJ” wins, he could wait to face the winner of Tyson Fury vs. Oleksandr Usyk for undisputed gold or face someone like Filip Hrgovic for the (soon) vacant IBF heavyweight title.
Ngannou is a former UFC heavyweight champion who recently signed with the Professional Fighters League. In his first-ever boxing fight in October, he faced Tyson Fury. "The Predator” lost, but he did knock down the WBC heavyweight champion. The Cameroonian has knockout power, with twelve wins in the cage via knockout. He believes his power, which took Fury off his feet, will help him against Joshua.
“Nothing is impossible, right? We don’t know the strength of Anthony Joshua but even though, I don’t believe he has that strength, but we’re going to find out in two months, we’re going to find out and I think the reverse is going to happen. I’m going to be taking his soul," Ngannou told the High-Performance Podcast via LowKick MMA
