Tiger Woods entered Round 3 at the BMW Championship five shots behind the leader, and he left Aronimink Golf Club in the same position.
The 14-time major winner started Saturday afternoon with back-to-back birdies, but he failed to capitalize on the momentum. Woods finished 4-under for the round and 12-under overall. Justin Rose and Xander Schauffele were tied for the lead at 17-under when Woods walked off the course.
