The Hurricanes and Bruins are both coming off big seasons, and they find themselves near the top of Stanley Cup oddsboards early in the 2023-24 NHL season.

Hurricanes

Sebastian Aho and Jesperi Kotkaniemi are the offensive catalysts for Carolina. Head coach Rob Brind'Amour employs an aggressive style of forechecking that always makes the Hurricanes a difficult team to play against.

Bruins

Boston won the Presidents' Cup trophy as the NHL's best team in the regular season last year. The Bruins also set a new NHL record for most wins in a single season with 65.
