This college football season has truly been a roller coaster in Boulder, Colorado. Sports bettors have been able to hit big on Colorado player props as stars like Shedeur Sanders, Xavier Weaver, and Dylan Edwards have hit high-value player props along the way.
Here we look at player props for Friday night's Stanford vs. Colorado game and offer some picks around the Buffs' stars.
The Buffaloes and head coach Deion Sanders took college football by storm in Week 1 when Colorado beat TCU outright as a 21-point underdog.
If you take the Oregon game out of the equation, Colorado has averaged 38.4 points per game. Their explosive offense has led to the emergence of multiple star players who have enticing props every week at some of the best legal US sportsbooks.
Facing against a weak Stanford defense that gives up over 30 points per game, we're highlighting the top Buffaloes player prop odds of the week.
Colorado Buffaloes vs. Stanford Cardinals live odds
To give you an idea of how much offense is expected out of Colorado on Friday night, here are the latest live odds from some top-rated sports betting apps for their game against Stanford.
Colorado anytime touchdown scorer props

- Xavier Weaver -170
- Jimmy Horn Jr. -160
- Anthony Hankerson -122
- Michael Harrison +170
- Shedeur Sanders +205
One thing to consider is that the Buffaloes will likely beat the Cardinals of Stanford pretty handily, and if it is a blowout, do we see some of the star players for Colorado not get their usual number of offensive touches?
Part of what has helped Colorado score so much this season is to win games they have had to win in a shootout. Yet, Stanford may be the worst team in all of Power Five football.
When this game ultimately turns into a blowout, we could see some players come out of the game for Deion Sander's squad.
Shedeur Sanders player prop odds
Passing TD Odds (via FanDuel):
- Over 2.5 (-160) / Under 2.5 (+120)
Passing Yards Odds (via FanDuel):
- Over 342.5 (-114) / Under 342.5 (-114)
The value is probably not there this week for any Shedeur Sander props except for the under 2.5 passing touchdowns.
While Colorado will score about as many points as they want, this seems like a game where they can get it in on the ground when they are in the red zone.

- Xavier Weaver Over 86.5 (-114) / Under 86.5 (-114)
- Jimmy Horn Jr. Over 71.5 (-114) / Under 71.5 (-114)
Our favorite Colorado player props of the week are everything over for Anthony Hankerson after he out-carried Dylan Edwards last week against Arizona State and was much more productive. In a game where Colorado wins big, you can expect the Buffaloes to run quite a bit more than their average.
We think this leads to Hankerson having a strong week, getting into the endzone at least once, and hitting his over on rushing yards fairly easily. The receivers, on the other hand, might be a little trickier. This is for the same reason we like the Hankerson overs.
While Jimmy Horn Jr. and Xavier Weaver have great years, it is hard to predict whether either will see enough targets to hit their overs in yardage. It's hard to predict a long touchdown pass, and instead, we think Colorado should be able to pound the rock on the ground to score when in the red zone.
The one caveat we will share is that if you think this game ends up being closer than what we are suggesting, then the Colorado offense may need to be more aggressive, giving Shedeur Sander and his receiving core a better chance to hit their overs.
Stanford has not scored more than 24 points this season. That includes games against non-power five opponents like Hawaii and Sacramento State (who Stanford lost to).
