Same-game parlays for Packers vs. Cowboys NFL wild card game at big odds

NFL wild card weekend features six games with great storylines and star power within each matchup. One of the most intriguing contests comes on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET when the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys face off.

Expectations are for an entertaining battle. To add to the fun, we've found three Packers vs. Cowboys same-game parlays worth a look at some of our top sports betting apps.

Same-game parlays for Packers vs. Cowboys NFL wild card weekend

Same-game parlays (SGPs) are a terrific way to spice up how you bet on NFL games. Using NFL prop bets to string together multiple legs can pay off with a huge payday.

With Packers star WR Christian Watson still dealing with a hamstring injury, the offense will rely on secondary playmakers like Aaron Jones and Jayden Reed. Jones, who led the team in rushing yards despite missing six games, has to be a factor against a unit ranking 16th in rushing yards allowed.

Green Bay hasn't been effective scoring on the ground, producing only four rushing TDs between Jones and AJ Dillon. Reed and Jordan Love have combined for six touchdowns on the ground. Health has played a part in why there's been such a discrepancy, so Jones being at 100% should lead to more advantageous touches in the red zone.

The tougher part of this SGP is Reed. Reed has been excellent when Watson has been out of the lineup, but these are high totals for him to eclipse. He's gone OVER 48.5 receiving yards in four of his last nine outings and OVER 4.5 receptions only four times all season.

However, if this game becomes more of a back-and-forth, offensive shootout, Green Bay will have to rely on Jones and Reed. This is a good return, considering Jones' health and Reed's increase in targets over the last month.

CeeDee Lamb SGP: Anytime scorer and OVER receptions, yards (DraftKings)

We can't avoid taking a CeeDee Lamb SGP after the season he's had. After leading the NFL in receptions (135) and finishing second in yards (1,749) and touchdowns (12), Lamb has become an unstoppable presence. Now, he goes up against the NFL's ninth-ranked passing defense.

Despite Green Bay's impressive individual talent in the secondary, they've struggled to slow the last two passing attacks they've faced. Minnesota totaled 293 passing yards, and Chicago reached 308 yards over the year's final two games. Dallas QB Dak Prescott may throw for even more.

Lamb will see a lot of Jaire Alexander, who will challenge the Cowboys playmaker with his tenacity and quickness. But Lamb has gone OVER 99.5 receiving yards seven times over his last 12 games and OVER 7.5 receptions in six of those contests.

Look for Dallas to rely on Lamb as they have all season long.

If you believe the Packers are a valuable play with the point spread, then the logical SGP to build is to go UNDER on this game's scoring total. Green Bay has gone OVER in 10 of 17 contests this season, but its key to competing isn't getting into an offensive shootout with the NFL's top-scoring offense.

Green Bay has scored more than 29 points only twice since Week 1, and those came against woeful defenses in Carolina and Minnesota. They have the seventh-best average drive time and fifth-most plays per drive. On defense, they allowed the fourth-most time and plays per drive.

The Packers bleed the clock regardless of whether they have the ball or not. Their bend-don't-break defense forces teams to execute in the red zone. This strategy points toward an UNDER with a total of .

Love has thrown for more than two touchdowns three times since Week 2, but the running game hasn't aided his efforts. Green Bay has rushed for only 10 touchdowns.

This offense isn't likely to do its part in a high-scoring affair, so the UNDER on the total TDs and the 1st half-point total go hand-in-hand.

If you're not thinking Green Bay contains the Cowboys offense with their ball-control strategy, then going all-in on the Cowboys makes sense. This SGP has the lowest return of our three options but might be the safest. 

By taking two moneyline legs, you're simply rooting for the Cowboys to be winning at halftime and by the final whistle. The Cowboys rank first in 1st half points scored, while Green Bay is 21st. This appears to be a favorable SGP build.

However, the key to this same-game parlay is hitting OVER.
