Steelers +0.5 over Cardinals
Pittsburgh (7-4) has yet to win a game by more than a touchdown this season. Perhaps Arizona (2-10) will be the perfect tonic for a double-digit victory, but the Steelers typically play in close games. Take a look at these scores, and you'll see why were moving the number in our favor:
- Steelers 26 Browns 22
- Steelers 23 Raiders 18
- Steelers 20 Titans 16
- Steelers 23 Packers 19
With the Steelers just needing to win the game outright, we also get the added benefit of winning in the unlikely case of a tie.
Kyler Murray carried the Cardinals to a 25-23 victory in his first game back from injury, but Arizona has since lost in consecutive weeks to the Texans and Rams.
Pittsburgh's coming off a 16-10 road win at Cincinnati. Kenny Pickett played solid at QB with 278 yards passing and no interceptions. The Steelers also displayed a balanced offense with Najee Harris rushing for 99 yards and a touchdown.
The Cardinals rank 30th in the NFL in rushing yards allowed (140.1) per game. Arizona has also yielded 16 rushing TDs. Expect Pittsburgh to control the line of scrimmage and establish the run early. That will open up opportunities for WRs George Pickens and Diontae Johnson. TE Pat Freiermuth led all AFC receivers with 120 yards last week, and could be in line for another big game on Sunday.

Eagles +9 over 49ers
This is a kooky spread with the 10-1 Eagles playing at home and getting three points. Philly's taken on all comers and knocked off Kansas City, Dallas, and Buffalo. Aside from an off week versus the Jets, the Eagles have looked like the NFL's best team.
The 49ers (8-3) are rolling after a much-needed bye week, which allowed Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel to fully recover from nagging injuries. San Francisco has won three straight games coming off the bye over the Jaguars, Bucs, and Seahawks.
These are two of the NFL's top rushing defenses. The majority of big plays are likely to come in the passing game. A.J. Brown ranks top-five in explosive plays with 18 catches of 20+ yards and three of 40+ yards. Expect him to be a difference maker on Sunday.
Philadelphia defeated San Francisco, 31-7, in last season's NFC Championship game. Brock Purdy was knocked out of that contest early. The Eagles are just the fifth 10-1 team to be an underdog, and all four of those teams lost outright.
Give us Philly +9 and we'll run with it.
