The Dallas Mavericks are in the Garden tonight for an NBA on TNT Thursday prime time battle with the New York Knicks. The Mavs have been up and down due to the rotating injuries to their two stars – Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic. However, both are now officially healthy, and they are now on a two-game win streak. Tonight will be their biggest contest since getting healthy.
The Knicks have won nine of their last 10 games. The one loss in that stretch came at the hands of the Lakers earlier this week without OG Anunoby and Julius Randle.
Adding to that pain, star guard Jalen Brunson went down Tuesday night with an ankle injury. Thankfully, it's been diagnosed as a sprain, so he's not expected to miss much time, if any. Brunson is questionable tonight, while Anunoby will remain out with an elbow injury for at least a few more games, and Randle is sidelined for a couple more weeks.
Since Acquiring Anunoby, the Knicks have won 12 of their 14 games. However, thanks to those injuries, a rough patch may be on the way.
There are still enough scorers taking the court tonight to make this a fun matchup to watch and wager on. Before tip-off, check below for the live odds for the game and additional betting information, including player props.

Here are the latest NBA betting odds for Dallas vs. New York:
Maverick’s betting news: Stars are back and thriving
The Mavs are beginning to overcome their injury bug, at least to the star players. Although early into the month, Doncic and Irving have been lights out. In their three February games, Doncic is averaging 31.3 points per game, 11.7 rebounds, 7.7 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
He is doing so shooting the ball at splits of 47.1%, 36.4%, 69.2%. The 36.4% from three is even more impressive when you account for him averaging 10 attempts per game in those games.
In Irving’s two games this month, he is averaging 29.5 points, 6.5 assists, and two steals. His shooting averages in that brief amount of time is61%, 61.5%, and 100%. He is picking up right where he left off in January. In that month, he averaged 28.9 points per game, seven boards, and 5.5 assists on a 47.3%, 44.9%, and 88.5% shooting split.
The Mavs are getting exactly what they need from their stars currently, which they’ll need going forward. Due to all their injuries, they have dropped down to eight in the Western Conference, and just three and a half games separate them from missing a play-in spot.

Knicks’ betting news: Injuries mounting quickly
The Knicks won their first game without both Anunoby and Randle earlier this week against the Grizzlies. However, it came at a cost, as Brunson suffered his ankle injury. The sprain diagnosis rules out a lengthy absence for Brunson, which is a bit of good news for the Knicks under the circumstances.
Brunson also being on the shelf does leave little fire power for the Knicks. There is just one player who has proven to be able to step up when needed – Donte DiVincenzo.
Last month, he averaged just 15.6 points. In their three February contests, he is averaging 26 points, 4.3 rebounds, and four assists. He is shooting 45.5%, 34.1%, and 80% in those games. The 34% from deep is solid considering he is averaging 13.7 attempts per game in those contests.
No one else has stepped up significantly to help replace their lost fire power, which will do them no favors against one of the best scoring offenses in the league.

Mavericks vs. Knicks prediction ATS
If Irving and Doncic play and two or more of the Knicks’ big three don’t, New York has no chance. This one should get ugly quick. The question for betting consideration in this one is how much Irving and Doncic will produce before heading to the bench to protect themselves against injury.
Prediction: Mavs
