Both Philadelphia's Jalen Hurts and Seattle's Geno Smith are questionable as the Eagles (10-3 SU, 7-4-2 ATS) face the Seahawks (6-7 SU, 7-5-1 ATS) on Monday Night Football to conclude NFL Week 15.

Hurts' sickness worsened over the weekend, while Smith is dealing with a groin injury.

Hurts reportedly traveled to Seattle apart from the team in an effort to contain the illness, which has not been disclosed. Hurts was downgraded to questionable on Saturday. Marcus Mariota will get the start if he's unable to go on MNF.

The status of Smith is also uncertain, and there's a chance Drew Lock will start for the Seahawks.

Let's take a look at updated MNF Eagles vs. Seahawks odds.

Eagles vs. Seahawks odds: Betting line shifts with Jalen Hurts, Geno Smith questionable

Here's a look at live NFL betting lines for Eagles vs. Seahawks:

This line opened at Eagles -5.5. and dipped to -4 last week. Hurts has started every game this season for Philadelphia, but the Eagles went 0-2 without him last year.

The line had toggled between 3 and 3.5 over the past few days, as reports of Hurts' and Smith's statuses have surfaced.

Quarterback uncertainty clouds forecast for Monday Night Football

Hurts is the lynchpin for Philadelphia's offense. He's thrown for nearly 3,200 yards and 19 TDs. Hurts has also run for 460 yards and 12 TDs. Smith's absence would be less of a blow for the Seahawks.

Philadelphia is mired in a two-game losing streak after lopsided losses to San Francisco and Dallas in which the Eagles were outscored 75-32. The Eagles still control their fate in the NFC East, but the NFC's No. 1 seed is in question.

The Eagles are 0-7 SU in their last seven games against the Seahawks, but the last meeting between the two teams was back in 2020.

Some of the shine will be taken off MNF if backups Mariota and Lock are forced to start. Mariota completed two of three passes for 16 yards against the 49ers in his only action this season. Lock got his first start against San Francisco last week and threw for 269 yards and two TDs. He was also picked off twice.

Eagles vs. Seahawks betting analysis

From a betting perspective, this looks like a stay-away game with so much uncertainty at the quarterback position. Who knows how effective Mariota can be in Philadelphia's offense? Can he execute the "tush push" like Hurts?

The lean would go toward taking the points and the home team here. Philadelphia's secondary is a mess and the Eagles could be without cornerback Darius Slay (knee) on MNF. The Eagles have allowed the second-most passing TDs in the NFL at 29, and they rank near the bottom of the league in giving up 259.9 passing yards per game.

Even if Lock starts, DK Metcalf (867 receiving yards and seven TDs) and Tyler Lockett (711 yards and four TDs) could feast on MNF. Seattle needs a win to keep its playoff hopes alive, but the remaining schedule is working in its favor.
