Home run props picks for World Series Game 4: Rangers' Seager, Diamondbacks' Walker to go deep on Tuesday

The Rangers took a 2-1 lead in the World Series on Monday night and now need only two wins to secure the franchise’s first championship. The Rangers’ big bats are showing up and making an impact regardless of who is on the mound for Arizona, and they’ll need that to continue tonight in Game 4. Fortunately for both teams, it’s a bullpen night, which usually leads to big offensive performances.

With the bullpen set for big roles, we’re looking at the best MLB home run prop picks for Game 4 of the World Series. The first pitch is scheduled for 8:03 p.m. ET on Fox.

Check out the selections we found on the market for the game.

Best MLB home run prop picks for Game 4 of the World Series

Rangers' Corey Seager to hit a home run in World Series Game 4

Corey Seager has hit a home run in three of his last four outings. Tonight, the Diamondbacks are likely to go through a plethora of relief pitchers in place of a starter.

In Game 4 of the NLCS, they used eight pitchers to get through the nine innings. Against those same eight pitchers Arizona used in the NLCS, Seager is hitting .333 and has two home runs, one of which was against Paul Seawall to force extra innings in Game 1.

Joe Mantiply is starting for the Diamondbacks tonight, and he is one of Arizona’s relief pitchers whom Seager hasn’t taken deep. However, he is batting .500 against him in just four at-bats.

Mantiply’s go-to pitches are the sinker (41%), curveball (28%), and changeup (24%). Seager hits those pitches at clips of .319, .358, and .319. It’s very possible Seager doesn’t have to wait long for his pitch to go yard in this one.

Diamondbacks' Christian Walker to hit a home run in World Series Game 4

The Diamondbacks’ first baseman, Christian Walker, has underperformed thus far in the postseason. The slugger finished tied for 16th in home runs in the regular season but has only registered one home run on 52 playoff at-bats.

The one home run he hit came two weeks ago in Game 3 of the NLDS. However, the Rangers are sending Andrew Heaney to the mound tonight to start. Although Walker has only three at-bats against him, he is tied with Ketel Marte for the most home runs against Heaney on the team.

Heaney uses the four-seamer, slider, and changeup at 58%, 25%, and 17% clips, respectively. Walker hits the four-seamer and changeup with the best of them. He struggled slightly with the slider in the regular season, but Heaney puts the pitch in the zone slightly above league average.

That has allowed hitters to hit the pitch above league average when Heaney uses it. Considering the one pitch Heaney has at his disposal to get Walker out is arguably his weakest, we like the chances of a home run tonight.

Rangers' Marcus Semien to hit a home run in World Series Game 4

Marcus Semien hit 29 home runs in the regular season and none so far in the postseason. He is due for a breakthrough, and there is no better time for a showing than right now.

With a chance to take a commanding 3-1 lead in the World Series, all would be forgiven by Rangers fans if he does hit a dinger tonight. Against the eight Arizona relievers who played in Game 4 of the NLCS, Semien is hitting .296 along with a home run in his career against them.

He has the most at-bats against the relief pitchers on the Rangers roster, giving him the most familiarity with the diverse pitching staff he will likely see in this series. Additionally, although he isn’t hitting home runs in the postseason, he is putting together a good hit streak.

Semien has at least one hit in five straight games. Since he'll be facing relief pitching for most of the game, we like his odds of finally putting one on the board in the postseason.
