Chiefs betting news: Can Kansas City advance to fourth Super Bowl under Mahomes?
Unlike years past, Kansas City (13-6 SU, 11-7-1 ATS) doesn't have the luxury of hosting the AFC Championship Game. The Chiefs hosted a record five consecutive AFC title games heading into this season.
Baltimore is hosting its first AFC Championship after making it past the divisional round for the first time under QB Lamar Jackson.
Mahomes rates the obvious edge in playoff experience with a 13-3 record in the postseason. He's competing in his sixth consecutive AFC Championship game, which boggles the mind. Mahomes has been KC's starting QB for six years and advanced that far every single season.
The Chiefs are a slight road underdog for the second straight week after beating the Bills outright as a 2.5-point underdog. Remarkably, Mahomes is now 9-1-1 as an underdog for his career.
Overall, the Chiefs are now 2-0 ATS as a road dog this season. Kansas City rested its starters in a 13-12 win over the L.A. Chargers in the season finale. The Chiefs entered that tilt at SoFi Stadium as a 3-point underdog.
Chiefs TE Travis Kelce scored two TDs in the win over the Bills. That marked Kelce's first return to the end zone since Week 12. If he's back to top form, that will be key in Kansas City's bid to upset Baltimore in a road game that should see some rain.
As Kansas City makes another run at the Super Bowl, the Chiefs are 2-0 ATS and 1-1 on the OVER/UNDER after beating the Dolphins and Bills in the playoffs.

Ravens betting news: Baltimore's defense, Jackson's legs key to victory
Baltimore (14-4 SU, 12-6 ATS) overcame a sluggish first half to overwhelm Houston, 34-10. The Ravens shut the Texans out in the second half.
Baltimore's been solid ATS as a favorite this season with an overall mark of 10-5. As a home favorite, the Ravens are 6-3 ATS but they did lose outright to the Colts, Browns and Steelers at M&T Bank Stadium.
The Ravens allowed no offensive TDs to the Texans, as Houston's lone touchdown came on a 67-yard punt return by Steven Sims. Baltimore also held Houston QB C.J. Stroud to 175 passing yards.
While Stroud was making his playoff debut, Mahomes is the most experienced playoff quarterback of his era. On Sunday, he'll be making his 17th career start in the postseason.
The Ravens ranked fourth in the NFL with 28.4 points per game in the regular season. As impressively, Baltimore limited opponents to a league-low 16.5 points per contest.
Baltimore's defense is capable of limiting Kansas City's point production. The Ravens have not allowed a team to reach 20 points in their last five games.
On offense, Jackson is a threat to run the ball often and find the end zone, as well. He led Baltimore with a 100 yards on the ground and two rushing scores in the win over Houston. He also threw for two touchdowns.
It will likely take that type of performance to oust magician Mahomes from the playoffs. Jackson did outduel Mahomes in the most recent meeting between the Chiefs and Ravens in September 2021. He ran for 107 yards and two scores and connected for a TD pass with two picks.
One of Jackson's favorite targets -- TE Mark Andrews -- could return from an ankle injury against Kansas City on Sunday to bolster Baltimore's bid to advance to Super Bowl 58.

Chiefs vs. Ravens prediction for AFC Championship
This could be an instant classic. It's not hard to envision this game coming down to a late field goal. With the Chiefs getting +3.5 points at some shops in early wagering, grab that if you can get it. Otherwise, back the Ravens.
