The Buccaneers and the Lions will square off Sunday in the divisional round of the NFL playoffs. The Lions have maintained a top 10 offense all season long, and the Bucs have found a way to elevate their play down the stretch, winning seven of their last eight games.

Despite getting to this point, both teams have defensive concerns that led to one of the highest totals of the Divisional round, which means there are plenty of player props to consider.

To take full advantage, we put together some of the best same-game parlays for the Buccaneers vs. Lions NFC divisional playoff matchup.

Here are the latest NFL betting odds for Bucs vs. Lions at top-rated sportsbooks:

Detroit pulled out a 20-6 win in their Week 6 matchup earlier this year. The Lions’ offense had a solid outing, but it was their defense that did most of the heavy lifting. However, they have regressed on that side of the ball since then, setting up opportunities for the Bucs’ offense to be better suited to keep pace with the Lions’ offense.

With offense taking center stage in this one, let’s review some of the best SGPs we found for the Buccaneers vs. Lions contest. Odds are as of Friday, and subject to change. Make sure to shop around to find the best price for your SGP.

SGP featuring Jared Goff at FanDuel

  • Passing yards OVER 277.5 (-114)
  • Passing touchdowns OVER 1.5 (-148)
  • SGP odds: +146

The Bucs finished the regular season allowing the fourth most passing yards a game to opponents. Meanwhile, Detroit finished second in the league in passing yards per game. However, the Bucs make up for it in the run game, allowing the fifth fewest yards on the ground per contest. As good as the Lions’ passing game is, they are just as dependent on the run to set things up.

The Bucs’ defense may force them to go to the air more than they would like, which will help Goff on the passing yards and touchdowns line as that’s the best way for them to score in this matchup. However, even if the run is stalled, they are likely to stick with it given how good both of their running backs are and Goff’s turnover habit.

Bucs vs. Lions SGP for Mike Evans at DraftKings

  • Anytime TD scorer (+100)
  • Receiving yards OVER 71.5 (-115)
  • Total Receptions OVER 4.5 (-160)
  • SGP odds (+250)

Evans is a focal point of every opposing defense he faces. That will be the case on Sunday yet again. However, Detroit struggles against big passing plays, which Evans creates consistently. Through 15 weeks of NFL play, Detroit was tied for fifth in passing plays of 20 yards or more allowed.

Additionally, the Lions are near the bottom of the league in sacks generated. They only got to Baker Mayfield once in their earlier matchup. The Bucs are now much better offensively, and if Mayfield is left in a clean pocket again, the results are likely to be completely different, and Evans will be one of the biggest beneficiaries.

David Montgomery SGP at Caesars

  • Rushing yards UNDER 55.5 (-117)
  • Anytime TD scorer (-118)
  • Total carries OVER 13.5 (-127)
  • SGP odds: +360

The Bucs’ rushing defense is elite, and that showed up in the first matchup between the two. Montgomery finished with six carries for 14 yards and no touchdowns before leaving the game because of injury.

However, regardless of how the run game is going, the Lions are likely to force Montgomery the ball to try and keep the Bucs’ defense honest. What Montgomery has going for him is that the Bucs’ defense is near the bottom at stopping teams once they get to the red zone, allowing teams to score 62.5% inside the 20.

Conversely, Montgomery is fifth in the NFL in red zone touchdowns among running backs, and that could prove critical in this game.
