Two teams with quarterback injuries meet Sunday afternoon when the Cleveland Browns face the host Indianapolis Colts in Week 7 NFL play. The Browns vs. Colts odds have been all over the place in lieu of that uncertainty.
On Sunday night, the Westgate SuperBook opened the Browns as a 1-point favorite. Over the past five days, the line has climbed -- perhaps with the anticipation that Browns starting QB Deshaun Watson would be returning to the lineup after missing two straight games with a rotator cuff injury.
Colts QB Anthony Richardson is out for the rest of the season.
On the over/under board, the number is .
The Browns are 3-2 straight up and 3-2 against the spread. The Colts are 3-3 SU/ATS.
With regard to over/unders, the Colts have gone over in four of their six games. The Browns, with the league's top defense, have gone under in three of five games.
Browns vs. Colts odds: Point spread, moneyline, total
Here are the latest live NFL betting odds for the Browns vs. Colts:
The Browns enter this game as a road favorite for the fifth time in the past three seasons, including a Week 2 loss to Pittsburgh, 26-22, when they were a 2-point choice.
The Colts, meanwhile, have been an underdog in each of their 2023 games.
League-wide last week, the "under" paid off in 12 of 15 games, but in this Thursday's prime-time game, a 31-24 victory by Jacksonville at New Orleans, the "over" came through.
As for the series, Cleveland and Indy haven't met since 2020, when the Browns were 32-23 victors behind QB Baker Mayfield.

Browns vs. Colts injury report
In addition to Watson's status, the Browns are hopeful star guard Joel Bitonio can go full speed this week after sitting out last week (knee).
For the Colts, now that starting rookie QB Anthony Richardson is officially done for the season (shoulder), Indy is focusing on getting back key receivers.
Here is the current injury report for the Browns vs. Colts matchup.
Browns betting news
For the third straight game, the Browns' main concern is whether Watson can play for the first time since getting hurt in Week 3 against Tennessee. He practiced Thursday for the first time in three weeks, but it was reported he wasn't throwing at full velocity.
Thus, it remains uncertain as of early Friday if Watson will return to the starting lineup against Indianapolis. PJ Walker would get his second straight start if Watson doesn't play.
Elevated off the practice squad last week, Walker helped guide the Browns to a 19-17 victory over undefeated San Francisco last week as an 8.5-point underdog, which ranks as the second-biggest upset in the league this season.
Hold the applause, though. Walker's passer rating 45.2 was the worst for a victorious QB this season.
What also made the victory stunning was that Cleveland prevailed despite the 49ers having a plus-1 turnover differential. Over the past three seasons, they had gone 22-0 with a positive margin.
As usual, Cleveland's top-ranked defense led the way. San Francisco had five drives that went backward and three others that gained zero yards.
One more thing. This week's game will be Cleveland's first away from home after three home games wrapped around a bye. The only other team this year to hit the road after a three-game homestand was San Francisco last week in Cleveland.
Colts betting news
Gardner Minshew will be at QB for the rest of the year, barring the unforeseen.
He also had a poor game last week in Indy's 37-20 defeat at Jacksonville. Minshew three three INTs for the first time in his five-year career, and his passer rating of 60.3 was the worst he's had since he was a rookie.

What contributed mightily to Indy's downfall was giving Jacksonville five short fields.
Also, RB Jonathan Taylor, the 2021 rushing champ, has been a dud in his two games since his pseudo holdout and ankle injury. He's totaled 37 yards on 2.6 a carry.

Browns vs. Colts predictions
At least the weather will be nicer for Walker if he's asked to play. Last week, he dealt with rain and wind.
As for Minshew, last week wasn't an outlier. In two emergency starts for Philadelphia late last year, the Eagles lost both games while trying to secure their division crown and NFC's top seed. When Minshew was on the bench, the team went 17-2.
If Taylor isn't going to produce big numbers, the Colts are in big trouble against the league's most ferocious defense.
Prediction: Browns minus points and under.
