With just 89 golfers in the field in this week’s Masters tournament at Augusta National -- instead of a usual field of 144 -- many bettors may be licking their chops thinking it might be a little easier to put money down on picking a winner.

But there are still plenty of bettors who look at the odds and feel picking one winner out of 89 players is still too big of a gamble.

Luckily for them, we’ve got the answer: Masters prop bets.

With the Masters being the first major of the year, there are props galore for bettors to check out.

We’re going to look at a few of them that just might pay off, including a couple of longshots.

We’re using DraftKings for our odds but make sure to shop around at the top-rated US sportsbooks to get the most bang for your bucks.

Best 2024 Masters prop bets and odds

Here are our top Masters prop bets to consider for this weekend.

Masters props: Five-man matchup to target

If 89 golfers is too many to bet against, a five-man matchup may be just what the doctor ordered.

We’re going to look at Brian Harman to win his group at +330. His group includes Si Woo Kim, Sergio Garcia, Min Woo Lee and Sungjae Im.

Harman has had an up-and-down 2024, making seven of eight cuts.

He upped his game with a T-2 finish at the year’s biggest tournament (prior to this week’s Masters) at the Players Championship so when the light shines the brightest, he’s up to the challenge.

Masters eagle prop pick

Check out the bet of your favorite golfer making an eagle during the first round.

We’re going to check out one of the PGA Tour’s eagle leaders this week just for fun.

No, it’s not someone like big-hitting Rory McIlroy or even world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler.

No, the eagle leaders, with 10 each for 2024, are Wyndham Clark and Harris English.

We’re going to go with Clark, who is making his first trip to the Masters, at +500.

Betting on bogey-free round from Scottie Scheffler

Check out Scottie Scheffler to not have a bogey on his scorecard in the first round at +1000.

Now, you may wonder, why would we look at that bet.

Well, Scheffler opened his last tournament, the Texas Children’s Houston Open, with a bogey-free 65 en route to a T-2 finish.

If that’s not good enough for you, we can go back one more tournament, his victory at the Players Championship.

He bogeyed the opening hole then went the next 17 holes without one which gives him 35 straight opening round holes without a bogey.

Granted, Augusta National is a different animal but last year he went the first 11 holes without a bogey (and even then he didn’t put a bogey on the card … it was a double bogey) so he’s certainly capable of cashing this ticket for bettors.

Masters prop odds: Top LIV golfer bet

We might take a gander at Dustin Johnson posting the lowest score among the 13 LIV golfers.

Johnson, who won on the LIV Tour in Vegas earlier this year, is a healthy +850.

He’s already got a green jacket and the good news is he doesn’t have to win the tournament to win this bet.
