2023 Offensive Rookie of The Year C.J. Stroud and the Texans (1-0) host No. 1 overall pick QB Caleb Williams and the Bears (1-0) in a Sunday Night Football matchup featuring two signal callers who seem poised to thrive in the NFL for years to come.

Let’s review some SNF prop bets and anytime TD scorers offered a top NFL betting sites and start thinking about which ones seem fun and worth targeting!

The Texans are favored by about a touchdown, and the over/under is around 45. It’s up to you to determine which side will account for more of that projected total.

Best player props & anytime TD scorer bets for Bears vs. Texans SNF clash

Will the additions of Stephon Diggs and Joe Mixon help Houston fly to new heights in 2024? Will the Bears defense continue carrying them to victory like they did vs. the Titans in Week 1? Neither supposition seems far-fetched based on what we’ve seen in a small sample size, so let’s get down to brass tacks and best bets:

Joe Mixon Anytime TD scorer

Two things that stood out in Week 1 were 1) the Bengals running game was stuck in the mud without Joe Mixon, and 2) the Texans' acquisition of the long-time AFC North veteran was a brilliant move.

Mixon’s 30/159/1 rushing stats in his debut with Houston were impressive, and that’s before noticing the 19 receiving yards he tacked on.

Consider a Joe Mixon anytime TD scorer prop bet on this game, and if you’re feeling saucy maybe contemplate a first TD scorer bet on him. It certainly doesn’t seem like Houston’s game plan will be to stop feeding the hot hand in the backfield.

Caleb Williams OVER 0.5 interceptions thrown

The vaunted USC product’s debut last week wasn’t eye-poppingly good, but the Bears D carried him to victory just the same. It’s way too early to have any kind of idea about what Caleb Williams’ rookie season will look like week-to-week, and there are going to be ups and downs. However, it might make sense to consider betting this prop if you think a rookie QB in his first road start ever (also first primetime game) might throw an oopsie-daisy at some point.

DJ Moore OVER 62.5 receiving yards

Trickle-down football economics stemming from the Bears totaling only 97 passing yards in Week 1 resulted in their No. 1 WR DJ Moore posting a paltry 5/36/0 stat line. His receiving yards prop bet projection is understandably low on the heels of that, but going into a SNF road matchup that Houston is going to score a decent amount in, maybe it’s OK to be a believer that Moore will net more than 62 yards through the air come Sunday Night.

C.J. Stroud OVER 7.5 rushing yards

Just like the Caleb Williams INT prop bet, this one just requires one thing to happen to hit. Prop bettors won’t need the Texans QB to scramble all night to hit the over. One collapsed pocket and a scramble would do the trick here.
