Track & field events are underway at the 2024 Summer Olympics, and Team USA's Sha'Carri Richardson is the favorite to win gold in Saturday's women's 100m sprint.

Richardson's odds have shortened from -167 last week at Bet 365 to -275. We've got women's 100m sprint odds at top sports betting sites and a prediction for the marquee event at Stade de France.

Women's 100m sprint odds at Bet365: USA's Richardson sees short price at 2024 Paris Olympics

Check out top contenders in the women's 100m race, per odds at Bet365, where Team USA's Richardson is the betting favorite.

  • Sha'Carri Richardson (USA) -275
  • Julien Alfred (STL) +500
  • Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce (JAM) +1200
  • Marie-Josee Ta Lu (CIV) +1400
  • Melissa Jefferson (USA) +1600

Jamaica's Shericka Jackson was expected to be Richardson's main competition, but she pulled out of the 100m sprint due to an injury suffered last month.

Richardson produced the world's fastest time in the 100m sprint this year, when she won the US Olympic trials in 10.71 seconds. Her personal best is 10.65, set back in 2023 at the World Championships. She won that event in Budapest at +550 odds to make her presence felt worldwide.

Richardson, who missed the 2020 Olympics after testing positive for marijuana, will have to outduel Saint Lucia's Julien Alfred and Jamaica's Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.

Fraser-Pryce, 37, is a two-time Olympic 100m champion, and she's competing in her fifth and final Olympic Games. Her personal best of 10.60 came just last year.

It will be interesting to see if Florence Griffith Joyner's world record (10.49 seconds) in the women's 100m sprint still stands on Saturday.

Women's 100m sprint prediction + boosted parlay odds at Bet365

Richardson is on a mission after being banned by USADA for the 2020 Tokyo Games. Nobody has posted a faster time in the 100m sprint this year. Her redemption tour will be complete on Saturday when she takes gold in Paris.

Bet365 is offering a boosted two-leg parlay (from +240 to +267) with Richardson and fellow American Noah Lyles both winning gold in the 100m sprint races. The men's event will be held on Sunday in Paris.

Bet365 is dealing Jamaica's Kishane Thompson (+125) as a slight favorite over Lyles (+150) in the men's 100m sprint.
