The World Baseball Classic final is set, and it's between a pair of pre-tournament favorites.

The United States is taking on Samurai Japan in Miami on Tuesday, as Merrill Kelly goes up against Yu Darvish. Both of these lineups are loaded top to bottom, with Mookie Betts, Mike Trout, and Paul Goldschmidt holding down the top of USA order and Lars Noobaar, Kensuke Kondoh, and Shohei Ohtani spearheading Japan.

Despite a rocky start to this iteration of the WBC, the United States has seemingly found its groove. Team USA defeated Cuba decisively 14-2 Sunday to make the finals after making it out of Pool C. Japan, meanwhile, is looking to become the second undefeated team in the World Baseball Classic after defeating Mexico in an absolute thriller on Monday, courtesy of a Munetaka Murakami walk-off home run.

Both rosters were among the best in the Classic coming in, and that has held true throughout. The United States is looking to win its second straight WBC after winning in 2017. Japan, meanwhile, is hoping to win its first since 2009.
