Former Barcelona midfielder Xavi has no doubt Lionel Messi will sign a new contract at Camp Nou amid speculation of a summer departure.

Messi's lengthy contract talks are understood to have picked up pace in recent weeks, though rumours linking him with a summer exit have overshadowed the 29-year-old's performances this term.
Barcelona chiefs have openly admitted they would do everything in their power to extend Messi's stay, and Xavi believes that his former team-mate will soon put pen to paper on a new deal at the Catalan club.
"I have no doubt that Messi will sign a new contract with Barcelona - no doubt at all," Xavi told Fox Sports.
"There will always be noise when it comes to Messi - he is the best player in the world people will always want to write about him - but there is often noise without any truth and I am sure this is one of those times.
"Over the years there is no doubt that he would have had the chance to earn more money with clubs who have billionaire owners, but his heart is with Barcelona. It is a love affair between him and Barcelona - and a relationship that I see continuing for many years yet."
Messi scored his 13th goal in his last 12 outings in Barcelona’s 5-0 rout of Las Palmas in La Liga on Saturday, his 26th for the club so far this season.
The victory temporarily lifted Luis Enrique's men into second place, before Sevilla climbed above them with a dramatic 2-1 victory to end Real Madrid's record-breaking 40-game unbeaten streak.
The results followed the club's decision to dismiss one of its officials from an institutional-relations role on Friday, having suggested Messi would perhaps not be as good if it wasn't for his team-mates.
Luis Suarez and Neymar have both been rewarded with new and improved contracts, with the club hoping Messi follows suit.
