Day 9 in Rio featured more of the what we've been seeing to this point — world records being shattered, legendary athletes capturing gold and the continued dominance of U.S. men's and women's basketball.
With Team USA men's basketball finishing off France in group play, they've finished group play 5-0. However, the flawless record isn't all it seems. The team has been shaky throughout the tournament, and has just been able to stave off opponents to this point. The team's next game is on Wednesday night, with an opponent yet to be determined.
Jamaica's Usain Bolt has captured his third gold medal in the men's 100m, cementing his legacy as one of the greatest track athletes, if not the greatest, of all time. With a day off on Monday, Bolt looks to continue his Olympic dominance on Tuesday in the men's 200m.
