The biggest story of Day 12 wasn't during any competition.
The story of four U.S. swimmers, including Ryan Lochte, being held at gunpoint and robbed took an odd twist Wednesday as Jack Conger and Gunnar Bentz were pulled off their plane in Rio de Janiero and taken to a police station. Matt Lauer will discuss his interview with Lochte on NBC's "Today" show Thursday morning.

As for on-field performances, the U.S. dominated the field events, taking gold and silver in women's long jump and Ashton Eaton leading the men's decathlon in points heading into the final day of competition. The U.S. also went 1-2-3 in the 100m hurdles, a feat that had never been accomplished.
Below you'll find the schedule of events for Day 13, highlighted by Usain Bolt's return to the track to defend his 200m title.
All of the events can be found live or tape-delayed on seven NBC affiliates throughout the day and live online at NBCOlympics.com.
