England's Justin Rose recorded the first hole-in-one in Olympic history Thursday at Olympic Golf Course in Rio de Janeiro when, using a 7-iron, his ball landed 10 feet short of the hole and rolled up and in on the par-3 191-yard fourth hole.

Playing alongside Rickie Fowler, Rose moved to 3 under for the tournament after the historic shot.

Rose and Masters winner Danny Willett are trying to capture gold for England. They are both in red numbers early in Round 1.
