Rio Olympics 2016: Kenyan track coach dismissed after alleged urine swap image

Kenyan sprinting coach John Anzrah has been dismissed from Rio 2016 after allegedly attempting to swap an athlete's urine with his own.

"We have sent Anzrah back home," Kenya Olympic committee chairman Kip Keino said. "He presented himself as an athlete, gave the urine sample and even signed the documents. We cannot tolerate such behavior."

Anzrah is the second official from Kenya's track and field team to be sent home in disgrace from the games after team manager Michael Rotich was caught on camera by the Sunday Times and German broadcaster ARD claiming he could provide advance warning of drug tests in return for a £10,000 (about $12,958 U.S. dollars) bribe.

That controversy, on the first full day of these games, came just a day after Kenya was removed from the World Anti-Doping Agency's list of "non-compliant" nations, but this fresh issue will put a greater spotlight on the African nation.
