Saturday marks the 148th Kentucky Derby, the coveted first leg of the Triple Crown. The Run for the Roses features a deep field of potential winners, with the 10th post Zandon sitting as the odds-on favorite at 3-1. One of the early favorites, Taiba, suffered a hit from the post draw with the dreaded No. 12, which has underperformed historically.

As usual, NBC will be carrying most of the Kentucky Derby coverage in 2022.

Right behind Zandon in the odds is Epicenter at 7-2. Epicenter will be starting from the third position, followed closely by Messier at 8-1 odds (No. 6).

The winner of the race will take a step toward the coveted Triple Crown, horse racing's highest honor.
