WNBA star and U.S. Olympian Brittney Griner wants to go head-to-head with fellow U.S. Olympian DeMarcus Cousins.
“I would love to just go out there and play against (Cousins),” Griner told USA Today. “We talk a lot of crap to each other. I love talking to him. He’s really funny. I would love to just go out there and play against him.
“I’ve never really been around him before until now, but he’s like that big brother, just to talk smack to and who is always competitive. He’s awesome.”

Griner says she's never played against NBA talent, but the 6-foot-8 center feels confident in a tough competition against Boogie. As for the Kings center, he's all for it.
“Whenever you’re ready to get it on camera and see her get embarrassed, I’m ready for it,” Cousins said to USA Today, with a smile.
“She’s got some footwork, but I’m top dog,” Cousins added when asked if she stands a chance. “I told her she’s the third-best post player here behind me and DJ (DeAndre Jordan). She’s a little mad about that.”
The one-on-one game will have to wait as the men's and women's teams have been in competitive games this week. First they aim to win gold, and then they can focus on individual competition.
