Indonesian outfit Persija Jakarta qualified for the ASEAN Zonal semifinals with a 2-4 win over Singapore's Tampines Rovers on Tuesday.
The star of the night for the Indonesian side was their 26-year-old winger Rijo Simanjuntak who was in flying form during the game, recording three assists for the four goals Persija scored on the night.
Rezaldi Hehanusa controlled a cross from Riko and fired home expertly for the opening goal. Riko slid the ball across for Novri Setiawan who side-footed the ball into an open net in the 51st minute.
The winger played the entire ninety minutes for Persija and tallied four tackles and two interceptions. He completed 79% of his passes and won 78% of his duels.
Ultimately, his performances have powered Persija to an important win and Riko is rightly named as Goal's Asian Player of the Week!
Congrats Riko!
