Titans vs. Chiefs: Best One Game Parlay picks & player prop bets for Week 9 Sunday Night Football include a heavy dose of Chiefs offense image

An exciting Sunday slate of Week 9 NFL action concludes with the 5-2 Kansas City Chiefs hosting the 5-2 Tennessee Titans in an AFC battle for the No. 2 seed. Patrick Mahomes and the high-flying Chiefs are whopping -12.5 favorites over Derrick Henry and the Titans, who may or may not have Ryan Tannehill (ankle) back under center. Considering the volatility around this game from a standard betting perspective, we will be constructing a Same Game Parlay on BetMGM and discussing each player and team prop comprising it.

We have discussed this game in detail, and created DraftKings and FanDuel lineups for it as well. But this column is all about the props we have hand-selected as our favorite, the most intriguing, and the most potentially-lucrative on the BetMGM books.

Anybody who bet my One Game Parlay for the Thursday Night Football game between the Eagles and the Texans enjoyed a very good start to their weekend. Despite the parlay consisting of a whopping six legs, we easily hit every last one of them and came away with a cool $550 on a $50 wager.

Let's build off that momentum, and carry our success forward to the next primetime matchup. The Chiefs-Titans should be must-watch television, and another One Game Parlay win will make it all the more enjoyable. Let's get that money!

Chiefs moneyline (game)

We always like to build a solid foundation for our Same Game Parlays, and you can't get much more solid than picking the No. 1 scoring offense to beat Malik Willis and/or Ryan Tannehill and a hapless Titans passing offense. Sure, Tennessee has Derrick Henry, the two-time rushing champ and current yardage-per-game leader of the NFL. But beyond him, Mike Vrabel doesn't have much of anything in terms of a stable, consistent scoring threat. This is the easiest pick of the week.

WEEK 9 NFL PICKS ADVICE: Pick 'em & Survivor pools

Travis Kelce anytime TD scorer

Kelce in primetime has pretty much become synonymous with clutch, and at this point it's a surprise when the elite tight end doesn't find pay dirt in nationally-televised games. He remains Patrick Mahomes' No. 1 target in big situations, and he leads the NFL with seven TD catches. Just like the Chiefs beating the Titans, this one feels about as safe a parlay leg as you can find.

Patrick Mahomes OVER 254.5 passing yards

We obviously need to include Mahomes in our OGP — regardless of matchup, the Chiefs always give him the green-light to fire at will. Offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy and coach Andy Reid trust the QB to make plays, and they set him up for success with a solid game plan week in and week out. Tennessee ranks in the top 10 in most passing yards surrendered, allowing an average of 254.7 air yards per game despite playing some dud passing offenses (Giants, Commanders, Texans, Colts twice). Mahomes and the Chiefs had an extra week to prepare for this one thanks to their Week 8 bye, so don't be surprised if they beat this OVER by 100. Mahomes is 3-0 in primetime games this season, with nine TDs, one interception, and an average of 258.7 passing yards. Another very doable leg of a solid OGP.

Derrick Henry OVER 74.5 rushing yards

We had to slip King Henry into this parlay — he's been absolutely sizzling lately, and he's literally the only explosive weapon on this entire Tennessee offense. Henry's touches have increased in each of the past four weeks, culminating in a 33-touch, 228-yard, and two-TD game against Houston last weekend. Simply put, the man put the franchise on his back, as he has so many times in the past. Henry leads the NFL with 107.9 ground yards per game, and he has the second-most yards per carry against stacked boxes this season. The Chiefs can only hope to contain him, and they're probably going into the game accepting the fact that he will get his yards. Kansas City has actually been solid against the run — allowing the third-fewest total ground yards on the season — but this man is not human. Smash the OVER.

Chiefs OVER 3.5 total TDs scored

When you're hot, you're hot — and Kansas City has been hotter than fish grease this season, as Mark Jones would say. The Chiefs lead the NFL in scoring, they have three 40-plus games and five games with at least 27 points, and Mahomes has 20 TDs to just five interceptions. Meanwhile, the Titans have surrendered 300-plus passing yards in four of their seven games and their young, inexperienced secondary can't stop a nosebleed. This might be one of the more volatile props in this parlay, but I think four TDs is pretty safe in a statement game for the powerhouse Chiefs.

Alternate total: OVER 39.5 total points

Another easy-peasy one to serve as the cherry on top of a very attainable Sunday Night Football parlay. We don't expect the Titans to score very much, no matter who is under center. But we think they can at least put up one or two scores, at least in garbage time. We're already banking on four TDs from the Chiefs, which gets us to the high-20s barring any extra-kick weirdness. All we need one top of that is one TD and a couple field goals? Yeah, we like our chances. And since we're playing with house money after our $550 One Game Parlay win on Thursday night, we're putting $150 of our winnings on this bad Larry. Good luck and have fun!
