Dolphins vs. Steelers: Best Same Game Parlay picks & player props for Sunday Night Football include Tua Tagovailoa airing it out & Najee Harris breaking the plane image

This weekend's Sunday Night Football broadcast features the embattled Dolphins (3-3) hosting the young, upstart Steelers (2-4) at Hard Rock Stadium in South Beach. Despite Miami's -7.5 odds, this has the makings of what should be a very entertaining battle between two young signal-callers. Today we will construct a Same Same Parlay on Caesars Sportsbook, assembling a handful of interesting and potentially-lucrative bets for this primetime AFC clash.

This contest will mark the first start for third-year Miami QB Tua Tagovailoa since he suffered a concussion on Thursday Night Football in Week 4 — just days after he appeared to sustain an initial concussion against Buffalo. We should also see fellow first-round QB and super-hyped rookie Kenny Pickett for Pittsburgh, who also just cleared concussion protocol after exiting the Steelers' Week 6 win over Tampa Bay. That win broke a four-game losing streak for Pittsburgh — while Miami looks for its first win in four games, with its triumphant victory over the division-rival Bills seeming like a distant memory.

BetQL's sharp betting report indicates that nearly 60 percent of tickets so far have been on Miami — both on the moneyline and against the spread — and we tend to agree that the Dolphins will pull away with this victory. But in a game showcasing so many exciting playmakers, it might be even more fun to bet on the individual players' performances. SGPs allow us to piece together prop bets into a parlay, introducing entirely new facets of fan and betting engagement.

Let's have some fun! Let's first list our Same Game Parlay for Sunday Night Football between the Dolphins and Steelers, highlighting our favorite player and team props. We will then explain our rationale behind each leg of the SGP, and why we're betting that each one will hit and win us some big-time SNF cash.

Tua Tagovailoa OVER 248.5 pass yards (-145)

Tua Time will be back on track in Miami, after a scary few weeks for the fifth overall pick of the 2020 NFL Draft. With multiple concussions in his rear-view, football fans nationwide are crossing their fingers that the athletic young QB can stay healthy and return to the greatness we saw from him during the Dolphins' 3-0 start. One thing's for sure: Tagovailoa's receiving corps will do everything it can do to help him succeed. The dynamic duo of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle — each in the top five in receiving yards — might be the most explosive wideout tandem in the history of the NFL. Their yards-after-catch ability (YAC Kings) make Tagovailoa's passing yards OVERs look enticing week in and week out. And while some will be too worried about his health to bet this prop — or too concerned with Pittsburgh's defense — we see this as a safe bet. The only QB the Steelers have held below 243 passing yards this season was Cleveland's Jacoby Brissett, a backup game manager in a run-first offense. Four of Pittsburgh's six opponents have logged 250-plus passing yards, including the Jets and Patriots. Bet on Tua Time to be a top storyline.

WEEK 7 NFL PICKS ADVICE: Pick 'em & Survivor pools

Tua Tagovailoa OVER 0.5 interceptions (+106)

Of course, accidents will happen — and we're betting that Tua will also have a couple rushed throws forced by Pittsburgh's stout pass-rush. How many times have we seen veteran All-Pro safety Minkah Fitzpatrick come up with a huge interception in a big game? Now the stud defensive playmaker returns to where it all started in 2018 when Miami picked him 11th overall in the NFL Draft. Revenge game narrative! Look, I'm all for Tua hitting the yardage over, but I also recognize that he's tossed three interceptions in four games, one of which he got knocked out of. Since he goes for bombs and might have some concussion-fueled PSTD in this one, it's a good bet he'll make at least one primetime misstep.

Jaylen Waddle longest reception OVER 22.5 yards (-111)

In Dolphins games, you've always got a good shot to hit if you pick either Waddle or Hill to amass a long reception. In this case, I'm taking the wideout with the shorter over/under, as Hill's has been listed at 25.5. And with Hill coming off a massive 177-yard game against Minnesota — and currently leading the NFL with 701 receiving yards — Pittsburgh might make containing him its No. 1 priority. But here's the thing: Hill's longest reception last week was 28 yards, while Waddle's long was 49! He may be the WR2 in this offense, but he's just as capable of breaking off a huge play against a Steelers D that's given up the third-most passing yards this season.

Najee-Harris-111421

Najee Harris: Anytime touchdown scorer (+160)

When the Steelers score, Harris usually has something (and sometimes everything) to do with it. The second-year back may be suffering with some nagging foot issues this season, but he remains Pittsburgh's top offensive threat. Harris has garnered touches in 13 of the Steelers' 16 red-zone attempts this season — a stat I literally had to double-check to believe. The Dolphins have good defensive players, but they have surrendered the sixth-most points in the NFL. The Steelers will score — they just scored two TDs against a much more disciplined Buccaneers defense — and I'm betting Harris will be responsible for at least one TD to cap off our lucrative four-prop parlay.
