Arsenal continue their Premier League title charge as they travel across England's capital to face struggling West Ham at London Stadium on Sunday.

Despite failing to make their 2-0 advantage count last weekend against Liverpool, battling to a 2-2 at Anfield in the end, Mikel Arteta's side will still come into this latest clash as clear favourites.

To keep the pressure on chasing Manchester City, only a victory will do here, though the Gunners will be wary of their indifferent recent form at this venue.

West Ham vs Arsenal odds

Arteta's Arsenal are overwhelming favourites here to claim another important win as they hunt down the Premier League title.

Despite failing to convert their 2-0 lead into a victory last time out against Liverpool, the visitors are still largely fancied to take all three points here even at a ground where they hold an up-and-down record of late (W2, D2, L1). That said, their record vs. the Hammers remains very one-way in their favour.

What must be considered as well, though, is that West Ham are battling for their top-division status as relegation looms on the horizon. Such fighting spirit has led to unlikely Premier League results in recent seasons.

West Ham vs Arsenal team news

West Ham may have struggled to grab a result in Belgium in midweek as they drew 1-1 with an energetic Gent, but they did manage to get through that match without any notable injuries. As such, David Moyes should have a near-full-strength squad to pick from here bar the long-term absentee of Gianluca Scamacca.

Meanwhile, visiting Arsenal are still without centre-back William Saliba for this trip across the capital as the Frenchman continues to struggle with a back problem. In more positive news, Eddie Nketiah should be deemed fit to take part, though Takehiro Tomiyasu and Mohamed Elneny are both still recovering from knee injuries.

West Ham vs Arsenal key stats

  • Across 53 prior Premier League meetings, Arsenal have won 35 times (D10, L8) with the overall scoreline reading 101-40 in the Gunners' favour.

  • Both teams have scored in just 11 of West Ham's 29 Premier League fixtures this season — a league-low amount.

  • Arsenal's Bukayo Saka could be the player to watch given he's recorded three goal contributions (G1, A2) across his past three matches vs West Ham.

West Ham vs Arsenal prediction

  • Moneyline lean: Draw (+300)
  • Against the spread lean (handicap): West Ham +0.5 (+305)
  • Score prediction: West Ham 0-2 Arsenal

Although Arsenal suffered somewhat of a collapse last time out at Anfield, which nearly saw them lose late on against a resurgent Liverpool, don't be expecting similar again here.

There are very few sides who the Gunners enjoy playing more than West Ham as seen by the fact that they remain unbeaten across their past seven meetings with David Moyes' men, winning six of those in the process.

As such, we're expecting them to get back to winning ways here especially as they've taken 35 points on the road this campaign, five more than any other side in the competition.

West Ham vs Arsenal best bet

  • Pick: Arsenal win or tie & under 3.5 goals
  • Odds: -150 (BetMGM)

If just backing an Arsenal win at -165 doesn't float your boat, why not find a bit of extra value by tagging on the under 3.5 goals at -150 instead?

That selection also allows for a draw in this match between the two London sides, which offers some insurance.

Given West Ham's low-scoring output of late — which has seen them score just four times across their prior five league outings — and the fact that Arsenal have scored more than three goals just twice across their previous 18 away league matches, we feel that this could be quite the safe bet.

West Ham vs Arsenal flier bet

  • Pick: Gabriel Martinelli to score first
  • Odds: +450 (BetMGM)

There are few Premier League players who find themselves in finer form at the moment than Arsenal winger Martinelli.

The young Brazilian has found the net in three of his past five outings for the Gunners overall, while he's struck seven times across his most recent eight league appearances.

While his value to score at any time against West Ham isn't really worth the gamble, you can find him at +450 to open the scoring in this match. That could prove a good selection as six of his 13 Premier League goals this season have come as the openers in matches.
