Australia and New Zealand will face off at Old Trafford this weekend in the women's Rugby League World Cup final.

The trans-Tasman rivals are the last two teams remaining from an initial field of eight nations.

Whilst Australia will be favourites heading into the match, the Jillaroos only edged New Zealand 10-8 when the pair faced off in the group stage.

The women's Rugby League World Cup final - to be played between Australia and New Zealand - will kick off at 1:15 pm local time on Saturday, November 19.

For Aussie viewers, the action will begin at 12:15 am AEDT on Sunday, November 20.

Old Trafford in Manchester, England is the venue for the decider.
