Arsenal have stretched their unbeaten start to the Premier League season to four games with a battling 1-0 win away Tottenham.

Gabriel Magalhaes' second-half header sealed a vital victory at Spurs as Mikel Arteta recorded a third successive away win at Arsenal's bitter rivals.

The visitors were forced to dig in during the closing stages as Gabriel and his defensive partner William Saliba slammed the back door in Tottenham's faces.

However, despite the passionate celebrations at full time, star player Bukayo Saka limped off the closing stages to give Arteta an injury headache.

Arsenal kickoff their UEFA Champions League campaign away at Atalanta on Thursday night and Arteta confirmed at full time that Saka is an injury doubt.

"Saka went down, he said he could not continue.  I don’t know exactly what it is with Bukayo, but he could not continue in the game.

"We will assess him in the coming days and make a decision."

Saka's potential absence for the trip to Italy adds another issue to Arteta's list of injury concerns as captain Martin Odegaard is expected to miss out.

Odegaard suffered an ankle injury on international duty with Norway, and is not expected back until October, but Declan Rice is available after serving a suspension against Tottenham.
