Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's Manchester United tenure has been aging well in the eyes of many fans as turmoil continues to grip Old Trafford on and off the field.
Erik ten Hag has won a piece of domestic silverware in each of his two seasons at the helm but United entered the October international break languishing 14th in the Premier League. The Dutchman has also only overseen one victory in his past 10 European matches.
Solskjaer was unable to match Ten Hag in terms of trophies won, with United's penalty shoot-out defeat to Villarreal in the 2021 UEFA Europa League final a particularly painful setback.

However, the Norwegian led United to a second-placed finish in the 2020/21 season and his overall body of work arguably measures up better than any of the far more illustrious successors to Sir Alex Ferguson.
Aside from serving as a UEFA technical observer, Solskjaer has been away from the elite game for almost three years. But that might be about to change.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer turns down Denmark job
According to Norwegian publication Tipsbladet, the Danish Football Union (DBU) approached Solskjaer to take on their vacant national team position following Kasper Hjulmand's departure.
However, the 51-year-old has reportedly turned down the opportunity to discuss the post further because he is in negotiations with "a major club" to become their head coach.
The report does not expand on exactly where Solskjaer might be heading, but he spoke recently of a desire to return to top-level football.
What did Solskjaer say about Man United job?
Speaking at the Oslo Business Forum last month, Solskjaer spoke about how he has unfinished business at Old Trafford.
"If the family [United] asks, I would say yes every day of the week," he said.
"It feels wrong to talk about jobs that other people have now, but I would say yes, of course."
