Great Britain's Paralympic team started strongly in Paris, winning an impressive number of medals after just the first day of competition. 

The team would go on to surpass their tally from Tokyo after a spectacular performance in the French capital, with only China finishing above them in the medal table.

A total of 124 gold, silver and bronze medals were won by a team comprising 215 athletes at the Paris Games, making this year a memorable one.
