There was a scary scene in the first half of the Broncos-Jets game at MetLife Stadium.
During the middle of the first and second quarter of action between Denver and New York, Broncos running back Tyler Badie had to be stretchered off the field. It was the result of a hard hit that he initially looked to have shaken off, but additional medical attention was required.
He is listed as "questionable" to return, according to Denver.
Badie was injured on his first carry of the game. The third-year RB is coming off a strong performance last week in the Broncos win over the Buccaneers. Badie rushed for 70 yards on nine carries, increasing his season total to 86.
Here are the latest updates to know about Badie's situation after leaving the Broncos vs. Jets Week 4 game.

Tyler Badie injury update
Badie suffered a back injury during the first quarter of the Jets-Broncos game.
On a third down play, Badie took a massive tackle to the back from Jets linebacker Quincy Williams. He fumbled the ball on the play, resulting in a turnover, but he was able to get to the sidelines on his own power.
Once there, the running back received medical attention while he was on one knee, but then went down to the ground. A backboard was brought out for Badie, who was strapped and carted off the field on the board at the conclusion of the first quarter.

The CBS broadcast reported that there was movement by Badie when he was leaving the field.
The Broncos said that he is "questionable" to return, and he did not end up returning to the contest.
NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported on Monday morning that Badie "has full movement of his arms and legs and is back in Denver with the team."
He did suffer a back injury that could land him on IR, but there is a chance he will be back in action this season, a positive sign after the scary scene in Week 4.
Badie is one of three running backs to see snaps in the Denver offense. He has been out-paced by Jaleel McLaughlin and Javonte Williams so far in the 2024 season, and those two likely will continue to lead the Broncos backfield in his absence.
