It was a scary scene towards the end of the Steelers-Titans "Thursday Night Football" game.
Titans WR Treylon Burks had to be carted off the field after an awkward fall with just over two minutes remaining in regulation. The wide receiver had to be mobilized before exiting the stadium.
Pittsburgh held on for a 20-16 win over Tennessee, improving to 5-3 on the season. With the loss, Tennessee fell to 3-5.

Burks, a 2022 second-round pick out of Arkansas, missed four games this season with an ankle injury. In four games played, the second-year receiver has six catches for 99 yards and no touchdowns. He added two receptions for 23 yards in the win over the Steelers.
Burks was the second player to be carted off in the game. Steelers linebacker Cole Holcomb had to leave the game on the cart after suffering a knee injury in the first quarter.

With just over two minutes left in regulation, QB Will Levis threw a deep ball along the sidelines trying to find Burks downfield on fourth down. The wide receiver went up for the grab, but was unable to come up with the completion.

As he fell to the ground, he slammed his back on the turf, as well as his head. Burks was motionless on the field, staying down for an elongated period of time as the training staff checked in on him.
Burks eventually was carted off the field. He gave a thumbs up as he was escorting off the playing surface.

According to Prime Video sideline reporter Kaylee Hartung, Burks had full movement in his extremities. He was being tended to by a neurosurgeon and an ambulance was set to transport him to a nearby hospital, if needed.

After the game, Titans head coach Mike Vrabel gave an encouraging update on his young wide receiver, stating that Burks was "alert and moving." He had not yet gone to the hospital, and was still being evaluated at Acrisure Stadium.

"I'll have more an update hopefully tomorrow," Vrabel said. "He's back there being evaluated. The way it looked, I think that it's probably better than how it looked. He's alert and in the training room getting evaluated."
